And do you know - I had something in the post about how I felt like everyone always strongly suggested to me, as a young, impressionable person, that I was too dumpy and unattractive to really be ANYTHING, but I took that out. I wish my son were here (he&...It is VERY exciting! I wish my son were here (he's with his dad right now), because I certainly would have made a science lesson of the event!<br /><br />Seriously, I'm so thrilled. I had a few very definite aspirations growing up: writer, actress and astronaut. Since I'm not pretty enough to be an actress, and not good enough with math and science to be an astronaut, and writer was my first choice anyway, I stuck with that.<br /><br />But I still recall one of my childhood dreams: to be the first person to set foot on Pluto. ;)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
